SSAP will now call The First Congregational United Church of Christ on Oak St. in downtown Asheville home! We are excited to offer a downtown location for meeting and regular meeting times on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:30. Big thanks to our community members who have helped to secure this space and to the First Congregational United Church of Christ!

This Friday members of SSAP will be involved in a downtown parade during Bele Chere festival. Meet with folks at 9:30 at Pack Place to organize for a 10 o’clock march! Come with fabulous costumes, noise makers, and a celebratory attitude! Members of the Action Now group have written the content for and designed a wonderful SSAP informational flyer to hand out to festival goers. Keep posted for a report on this upcoming action!!!
